Clematis : 30”x40” Plant Shadow Painting
This painting comes from my love of plants, color and shape, and is inspired by soft shadows in the garden. Calming and tranquil, it brings the garden inside. Mix and match it with some of my other plant shadow paintings in my shop for a garden inspired gallery art wall. The botanicals are painted with watercolors on a wood panel and then blocked in with matte acrylics for the background. The painting is sealed with an archival varnish and does not need to be framed with glass. The frame is a simple wood cradle and is signed on the back and comes ready to hang and enjoy.
