Materials for students to bring:

(please reach out if you have questions or need specific suggestions)

Watercolor set with colors of your choosing Bring a set of watercolors, any will do. I like to make my own set with colors I love and know I’ll want to use. You can buy an empty watercolor tray and fill half pans with any colors you choose. I tend to use the Holbein brand most often but there are many great watercolor paints out there. Doesn’t need to be a big set. I will have some extra watercolors to experiment with as well.

Watercolor Brushes We will be working small so I would suggest at least two watercolor brushes. One fine and and one in the #2 or #3 round range

Watercolor Palette to mix colors Many sets have space to mix on the lid os the watercolor set but if your set doesn’t or you want more mixing space then bring a separate watercolor palette

Optional:

sketch book

personal apron

gouache
