Staghorn Fern : 30”x30” Plant Shadow Painting

This painting comes from my love of plants, color and shape, and is inspired by soft shadows in the garden. Calming and tranquil, it can easily transition into any décor setting. Try mixing and matching it with some of my other plant shadow paintings in my shop for a garden inspired gallery art wall. 

The shadows are painted with watercolors on a wood panel and then blocked in with matte acrylics for the background. The painting is sealed with an archival varnish and does not need to be framed with glass. The wood box frame is painted white and is signed on the back and comes ready to hang and enjoy.
